Who we are

ATB Marketing Ltd. is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Our company number is 14494497. Our registered office is 142 Newport Road, Broughton, Milton Keynes, England, MK10 7AP. Contact us about privacy at adamson@atbmarketing.co.uk.

Information we collect

When you enquire, we collect your name, business name, email address, telephone number if supplied, service of interest, message and subsequent correspondence. The form, hosting and security providers may also process IP addresses, browser and device information, request times and security signals to deliver and protect the website. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your enquiry.

How and why we use it

We use enquiry information to understand your requirements, reply, arrange a conversation and keep a record of the discussion. Our lawful basis for ordinary business enquiries is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and managing business relationships. Technical and security processing supports our legitimate interest in running a reliable website and preventing misuse.

Where necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, or to perform that contract, we rely on contractual necessity. This applies when you personally are the prospective or actual contracting party. We may also retain or disclose relevant records where required by a legal obligation.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. Any future optional marketing arrangements will be explained separately. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Providing information

Fields marked as required help us identify and respond to your enquiry; without enough contact details or information, we may be unable to help. Providing a telephone number is optional. You can also contact us by email.

Who processes information

We use providers for hosted enquiry forms, customer relationship management, email, website hosting and bot protection. They receive information needed to provide those services. Access may also be given to people authorised to handle your enquiry, professional advisers where necessary, and authorities where disclosure is legally required. We do not sell enquiry information.

The public website uses Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery and website security. Our enquiry form is provided through our hosted customer relationship management platform, and our business email uses Google Workspace.

Processing outside the UK

Our service providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. The CRM provider’s standard data processing agreement provides for applicable adequacy arrangements or contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses with the UK transfer addendum. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your information and how to obtain a copy, subject to necessary redactions.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiry records for as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry and any related discussions. The appropriate period depends on whether the enquiry remains active, whether it becomes a client relationship, and whether records are needed for a complaint, dispute or legal obligation. We review enquiry records and delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed. You can ask us about retention for your particular enquiry.

Cookies, analytics and security

ATB has not added website analytics or advertising pixels at launch. The hosted form and bot protection may use cookies, browser storage and technical information for their operation and security. You can contact us for information about the form’s storage and security features. Any non-essential storage or tracking that requires consent must remain disabled until that consent has been obtained. We will update this information before adding analytics or advertising tools.

Your right to object

You can object to our use of your personal information based on legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation. Email adamson@atbmarketing.co.uk to tell us your objection.

Your other rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. Contact adamson@atbmarketing.co.uk to make a request or raise a concern.

You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk. You can contact us first so that we have an opportunity to address your concern.

Updates

We will update this policy when the website or our handling of information changes. The date above identifies the latest revision.
